Blog Instructions

How to contribute to this blog:

To become a blog author, you will need an invitation. If you haven’t yet received an invitation, please email Zachary Bynum (zb3451a@american.edu) and request one. Once you have received the invitation, click on the orange button to accept. To start contributing to the blog, you will need to use your Google account (your AU student email should work, or you can use your personal account).

How to create a blog post:
Creating a blog post is easy. Once you have become a blog author, you will be directed to a page that shows an orange “New Post” button (top left). Click on it and start typing your post. Alternatively, you can also draft the post in Word and then paste the text into Blogger (in this case, watch out for possible formatting problems when the post is published). Once you are ready, click “Publish” (top right) et voila! Feel free to add images, short videos, and links to relevant sources and other materials as needed to make your blog posts more interesting and interactive.

Tagging your blog assignments:
Please remember to use the tags “Online Election Campaign” or “Storytelling Critique” to identify your assignment. The tags should be introduced in the “Labels” option located on the right top of the screen. Make sure to separate the tags with commas.

Questions?
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact our TA Zachary (zb3451@american.edu) or Prof. Trevisan (trevisan@american.edu).
